DESCRIPTION

Our High Adventure Crew First Aid Kit (containing over 250 pieces) is designed for a group of 8-12 people for 8-12 days and is packed with all of the supplies that we recommend in our Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder courses. We're also pleased to announce that the kit is now over a full pound *lighter* than previously!

This kit is extremely popular with Troops and Crews going on BSA High Adventure treks such as Philmont Scout Ranch, Northern Tier, Florida Sea Base, Maine High Adventure, or Goshen's LenHok'sin! The kit is also designed to meet the Scouts BSA recommended crew first aid kit contents for High Adventure. Save over 30% compared to buying contents separately.

We love these kits...it's our third! We like all the pockets with the clear viewing windows..it makes it easier to find stuff compared to previous closed pocket versions. The kit is sized nicely to lay on the top of a pack. Echoing off of Kirstin's comment, we would love to have a suggested packing strategy posted on the website or provided with the kit, so every kit looks the same, and it's easy to know when items are running low.

This is a great kit. I ordered it with the bag and it proved to have everything I would expect to need for a casual extended stay out in woods and mountains.

I was surprised that it arrived in pieces, though. I know level A, level B kits, and helicopter first aid kits from my time in SAR along with basic home first aid kits, but I have never actually put one together myself. Our medics did that. I know how they should be organized though, so In the end it was a fun and educational exercise while watching TV. After a couple false starts I did sort out what categories fit what pocket best and despite how it may look at first, it really does all fit! Book and all. It zipped up nicely with wiggle room, should I want to add a couple additional small items later.
