DESCRIPTION

Great for Small Flocks! Comparable to Safe-Guard AquaSol, Fenbendazole 20% AquaSol poultry dewormer is indicated for the treatment and control of adult and larval intestinal worms in both broiler chickens AND laying hens.

Fenbendazole 20% AquaSol is the most effective treatment for nearly all types of internal parasitic worms affecting poultry. It is very effective against the following types of intestinal and poultry worms: adult and larval roundworms (Ascaridia spp.), cecal worms (Heterakis spp.), threadworms (Capillaria spp.), plus the most common species of tapeworm affecting poultry, (Choanotaenia spp. as well as Raillietina spp.).

Fenbendazole 20% AquaSol has NO Egg Withdrawal Period.

Each mL of AquaSol concentrate contains 200 mg of Fenbendazole and must be administered orally to chickens via drinking water at a daily dose of 1 mg/kg BW (0.454 mg/lb) for 5 consecutive days. Do NOT administer directly into their mouth, as this is a concentrate and requires water to activate and be absorbed into their intestinal tract.

Tapeworm Notice: Even though Fenbendazole is known to treat the two most common types of tapeworm found in chickens and poultry, it is recommended that if treating for tapeworm, to either double the dose -OR- add one additional drop of AquaSol per gallon of water.

This is NOT a large 1 L bottle.
This is a small, 9 ml bottle.

DOSAGE + ADMINISTRATION:

Fenbendazole 20% AquaSol must be administered orally to chickens via their drinking water at a daily dose of 1 mg/kg BW (0.454 mg/lb) for 5 consecutive days with the medicated water being the ONLY water available to them.

DOSE CALCULATIONS

The daily dose of 1 mg AquaSol per kg bodyweight (0.454 mg/lb) is equivalent to 0.005 mL AquaSol per kg bodyweight (0.00227 mL/lb). The required daily volume of product is calculated from the total estimated body weight [kg] of the entire group of chickens to be treated.

Fenbendazole for the win!!

It did the trick!! Follow instructions and everything will work. Don't be afraid to do an extra drop if your hens are really infested with worms. I love the convenience of the little bottle and the step by step instructions. One thing to note is worms can become resilient to one wormer, so don't be afraid to switch it up in the spring or before winter. Great product, fast shipping.
