Epi-Kit Manual Injection Kit (EpiPen Substitute)

With the cost of epinephrine auto-injectors skyrocketing, more and more outdoor & adventure organizations as well as EMS departments are switching to using manually-injected epinephrine via glass vials or ampules. Not only does this save hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars, but it is also just as effective as using an auto-injector such as an EpiPen.

This Epi-Kit includes everything needed to safely administer epinephrine via manual injection, except Epinephrine.*

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT EPINEPHRINE:

Epinephrine ampules require a prescription from a physician practicing in the United States or District of Columbia. Epi-Kits with epinephrine are ONLY sold to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and have a valid prescription. EPINEPHRINE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT, however it can be ordered at many CVS pharmacies with a valid prescription.

**Epinephrine can only be injected into the outer thigh, and can be done so through clothing in an emergency, if using an epinephrine auto-injector. If administering manually, it is recommended to not attempt to administer through clothing.
